A Thousand Titillating Tales

Housed in the quaintest little lane in Arab Street area, nudge open the great big wooden door and step gingerly into A Thousand Tales. I don't know about you but I love the smell of new furniture. And there was a faint whiff of wood in the air. *Naughty glee*

Making my way past the landscape of ultra chic mid-century Scandinavian home pieces, I head up the stairs to Cafe Fables and Bar Stories. It's the Arab Street syndrome - the names seem to be plucked out of A Thousand and One Nights.

                                                                       a long black

Had a refreshing glass of iced tea and coffee. This cosy joint doesn't specialise in coffee. Can't blame them for the insipid cuppa. Will try their mocktails on a next visit. The mixologist was seen bantering with a fawning bunch of ladies. Cute Cute was not wearing a skirt so he vowed to bring Cuchi if he does come back.

A perk of this cafe is that you get to rest your bums on designer furniture with price tags. Huge price tags in fact. Had to warn Cute Cute not to get his claws in them.
