To-gather Cafe with the gang

A lazy Saturday afternoon spent with the foodie gang, Mr & Mrs Business Time and Mr & Mrs Husky at a quiet part of Bedok... ... Yes, the lions managed to haul Mr Business Time's fine palate into da hood... ... with Mrs Business Times picking up fresh eggs from an old school egg vendor.

To-gather Cafe is a few blocks down from iScream. Is this part of the HDB precinct going hip? With most mains below $10 (think aglio olio, baked rice, pork cordon bleu and more), this cafe is worth checking out for its wallet friendly prices. The lions can't formally comment on the grub as all they had were finger food like fried chicken pieces. But the coffee was decent (UCC Japanese beans) even though Mr Business Times remarked that it was not aromatic. And sweets like the chocolate molten lava and brownie (check out the ice-cream scoop resembling a glob of mashed potato) were affordably good. There is also a little play area for families with little 'uns.
