Lo and Behold! A quirky looking house/building in the midst of commercial buildings |

So happens when we are there, we were the only customers due to the odd timing I guess. Still Haryato (The owner and barista) was very warm and ushered us in. The whole place is a 3 in 1 concept and featured a cafe, shoe maker and a tailor. Interesting little place which exuded very wide and free atmosphere. The whole place reminds me of a photographer's studio. (It might be one!)
The paper sofa which can hold up to 16 people! |
Bunny in your coffee sir? |
Pause's handmade biscotti |
Coming down to business, we ordered the coffee. Latte for Cuchi and a long black for Cute Cute the lion. Coffee was done very well. The long black ($5 for double shot) is smooth with a hint of acidity to give it some taste but it doesn't linger. Temperature of the coffee is just nice. The latte ($5) was also a hit, the milk and the coffee are of good proportion where I can still taste the coffee. We ordered the biscotti ($1 a piece!) for that was the only food available there for the time being. Haryato said that he will be bringing in food like sandwiches and muffins so it looks like this will warrant another coffee visit!
Here is our review
Price of coffee: Range between $4 to $6 depending on size and type
Coffee quality: 8.5 pawprints out of 10
Ambience: 9 pawprints out of 10 (15 out of 10 for cats since the sofa is a good scratching post for them)
For those who are interested in going there, here is the address
