Cute Cute brought his lioness one day to have a simple lunch of fish and chips at a humble kopitiam in Toa Payoh. He wanted her to try what was arguably the best fish and chips on the island, and at a fraction of what you might normally pay at fancy restaurants.

| Cuchi gives a perfect 5 out of 5 pawprints for this simple dish outstandingly executed by Uncle Michael who charmed her at the same time with his cute British accent. The humble dory (or catfish to be exact) retained its delightfully fresh, flaky flesh in the hands of the master. The traditional English batter rendered a crisp exterior topped with a sprinkle of herbs. Drizzle some Heinz malt vinegar over it for that tangy kick. |

So imagine the lions' delight when they stumbled upon a cafe that had an equally mean dish of fish & chips. It was a crispier version of the one at Toa Payoh. But they wanted to make sure that it was no fluke; that the quality was consistently maintained.

| Another drink with a gorgeous colour is the Sweet Potato Latte. A little too milky for Cuchi but order it if you're in love with purple. The sweet potato flavour was really mild and subtle. It's a signature drink alongside the Sticky Date Shake that the lions did not get to try. |

| Fish and Chips was good the second time round but did not have the wow factor of the first visit. Oh well... But the lions will order it again for the extremely addictive........ |

| Order the mushroom and bacon carbonara instead. Slurp up the generous amount of finger-lickin creamy goodness. |

| Brunch fanatics might want to order the All Day Breakfast of bratwurst, sauteed mushrooms, roasted potatoes, grilled tomato and greens with a complimentary glass of juice. Highly recommended dish according to Miss Honey Wine. |
