Green with Envy at Poison Ivy

Cute Cute and Cuchi have a soft spot for dining places set in verdant greens as they tied the knot in a garden setting. One lazy Saturday, they decided to head for the farms of Lim Chu Kang for some animal action (read: milking of goats) before a light breakfast at Poison Ivy set in lush surroundings.

Every kitty needs his Garden of Eden. Ssssssh do not disturb ...
Got milk? Milking of goats at Hays Dairies. Enjoy a chilled bottle
of goat's milk thereafter.

Refreshing Fig Tea and Lemongrass drink
Simple curry chicken dish. The portion was small but it
was one of the best curries ever. Piquant, thick, aromatic and
replete with nasal-clearing flavours of spices.

Cheery and rustic interior perfumed by fresh greens
Will be back to try more items on menu.

*Update*

Heading back to Poison Ivy again two weeks later, Cute Cute and Cuchi bumped into a familiar personality - hey it's the Paikia Chef! They promised him that they would head down to his little joint again. That's another post altogether.

Must-try! Moringa Tempura available only seasonally.
Nasi Lemak - try the absolutely heavenly home-made chili that goes with it!

Exploring the Farm for $2 per pax, really worth the relaxing experience:

Coffee plant grown locally!
Spot the coffee fruits....
The famous fugitive lived here???
Relive childhood dreams on a tree swing.
Padi
The farm is the largest producer of organic bananas in spore.

Poison Ivy's home-made banana cake. Yummilicious!
