A Reunion of Strangers and Coffee

Strangers in the night... exchanging glances...Wondering in the night... what were the chances... Well if you didn't have the chance, don't despair... There's a new coffee joint to meet people, Strangers Reunion. Located in one of the shophouses at Kampong Bahru, Strangers Reunion is an off shoot from Papa Palheta, serving coffee and cakes.
Lonely? Don't despair.... Head down to Strangers Reunion
Old and rustic wooden doors greeted the lions when they first saw the coffee joint. Stepping in, they were instantly at home in the chic and minimalistic interior with retro and vintage touches evident in the careful selection of mismatched furniture.

Long black, magic and lychee martini cake were ordered. The long black was smooth and had a nice body. The Magic, something original, is actually double ristretto topped with foamed milk. It was stronger than the normal latte.

Now Strangers Reunion has a variety of cakes and the one that caught Cuchi's attention was the Lychee Martini cake. When it was served...... it looked strangely like the ones in Broadway Cafe at Duxton (a review on that later..) But the lions still enjoyed their cake... there was surely enough alcohol in it.

The lions had the privilege of having a chat with Ryan, the main barista of Strangers Reunion. He explained to the lions about the concept of Strangers Reunion and the coffee beans that they are using are from Papa Palheta, the Terra Firma blend.
