Cute Cute still remembered that it was a lazy sunday afternoon when he found this place together with Cuchi. Cute Cute still remembered when he was a lion cub, he came to Henry Park area rather often to wait for his brother to get off school. So feeling nostalgia, he flew down there together with Cuchi to just have that feel again before the area changes again. Who knows that there is a new coffee joint there!
Henry Congressional, one of the few boutique coffee joints in the west, emit a very laid back simplistic feel. Nestled in one of the shop among the apartments in Holland Grove Road, Henry Congressional is actually a spin off from Smitten Coffee. The difference is that they serve other forms of pastries such as pandan chiffon cake there.
Beer lovers, this is also a place that sells beer while your friends drink coffee... and it's Rocheforte on tap!
A Rwandan single origin was ordered by Cute Cute and he tried the coffee. Smitten is also known in the industry as a coffee roaster thus Cute Cute was curious about the coffee beans that he roasted. The Rwandan was smooth but a bit too much on the acidity side. Cuchi tried Rwandan coffee before and was not impressed.... oh well, there's always a first for the lions.
