So new, even the plastic sheets have not come off the facade. |
Bejewelled Christmas tree cheerily greeting guests at the door. |
A mini nativity scene. |
Minimalist interior with white-washed brick walls. |
Fresh garden salad. |
Soup of the day - tangy tomato soup. Full of homemade goodness, the lioness who is fond of soups slurped the bowl empty before the frowning lion could even taste it. |
Chicken Schnitzel served with mushroom sauce. Not too bad, it was well-breaded and tender. |
Pulled Pork Belly Pie ($16). Orange infused braised pork belly mixed with gorgonzola in a butter pastry. The juicy slivers of meat were surprisingly lean. Served with a side of sweet potato fries. |
Straight-forward Lavazza Coffee. |
The lions have heard so much about the chili crab pasta and dry laksa noodles on the usual menu. They will be back to give it a try.
